Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria is looking for a volunteer walking buddy for a blind lady living in Melbourne's CBD. This lady has complex health issues and you must have a First Aid Certificate to apply. Some experience working in the disability/health field would be ideal. Your role would be to meet her at her home, catch a taxi with her (she pays) to the Chadstone Shopping Centre where you would go for a slow walk and have a coffee, then accompany her home again.

You would be part of the Walking With Willpower program which aims to empower people with low or no vision to get out of the house and get active.

You must be over 18 years of age to apply.
