3rd Space Cafe is a unique Emergency Relief Food provider where we believe that people who are homeless or struggling deserve access to free and low-cost food with a sense of dignity and respect.

You will be working closely with our Café Manager/Supervisor and Chefs in our Food Donations program collecting donations from suppliers to allow the Café to deliver the healthy, nutritious free and low-cost food to people who are homeless or doing it tough.

Duties Include: • Coordinating with the Café Manager/Supervisor on needs and requests for donations • Driving to and from food donations providers in a manual C-class van • Choosing and buying food items from providers as directed by 3rd Space Café Staff • Maintaining good professional relationships with providers and other stakeholders • Conducting yourself professionally while at 3rd Space and while representing 3rd Space in the community Packing the van while on site at suppliers and unloading the van at 3rd Space • Some heavy lifting and manual handling • Following all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations within the kitchen
