Shopping and Support Drivers - Home Assist Program

This role involves transporting seniors from their home, to the shops and return.

It includes assisting seniors with shopping needs ie navigating the store, lifting/moving filled shopping bags.

Volunteers must be patient and have excellent communication skills.

A current drivers licence is required and applicants must be willing to undertake a driver competency and medical assessment (paid for by Council).

This role also requires volunteers to have current first aid certification, this training can be provided and cost covered by Council.

Vehicle Supplied.
