Our holiday groups usually comprise two volunteer support staff and five people with intellectual disability. We offer a very flexible model of volunteering, with volunteers able to nominate to support trips during times when they have availability.

To commence your volunteering journey with us we can speak to you over the phone and send further information about our organisation and the volunteering role electronically, without the need to meet in person. The next step, an interview in person and then training potential volunteers, would be dependent on the covid19 situation.

Requirements:

• Must be over 20 years of age
• Must provide the details of two referees
• Successful applicants will undergo a National Police Check, a Working with Children Check and a Disability Services Check.

No formal qualifications are required for this position, however opportunities for personal and professional development are provided as part of the training and ongoing support for volunteers.
