Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.
The position involves working on the restoration of the heritage trams and other heritage vehicles which ran in Launceston between the years 1911-1952. These vehicles will either be operational or static displays. Other duties could range from making displays and signs for the museum gallery etc. To maintain the workshop in a clean and safe environment in order that patrons can be guided through to view these vehicles.
