- Previous experience of living with pets
- Ideal for part time workers or people at home most of the time
- Comfortable with medicating pets, or be willing to learn to administer medication
- A separate space in your home
- To keep a journal / observations of pets to assist vets and animal shelter team
- Foster types include pets with behaviour and/or medical requirements, or mothers with babies
- All foster carers will be required to sign an Agreement with the City of Ballarat, as required by legislation
