The aim of this exciting new community service is to teach primary school students about the importance of First Aid and what to do in the event of an emergency. The knowledge and skills gained in our FAiS Program will develop First Aid awareness in school children and contribute to building a safer and more resilient family unit and community. We have successfully piloted this program in the Sunshine Coast region and we now extending to include the Moreton Bay, North Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba regions. By the end of the 2019 school year we are aiming to have trained nearly 20,000 primary school children.

St John Ambulance Volunteer Educators will visit schools and deliver a 45 minute First Aid session per class with content and delivery style designed specifically to be age-appropriate. St John are committed to delivering the program to as many students as we can reach and will return for multiple days where necessary.
