Volunteering with CanTeen - Various Positions
Canteen AustraliaCanTeen relies on the assistance and support of our volunteers to help us deliver our programs for young people and raise awareness in the community. As a volunteer you have specialist skills that are essential in the running of our programs and talking with other people about how CanTeen makes a difference. Our volunteers provide support, participate in and help run activities and most importantly have fun in the process!
What’s involved in being a Program Volunteer?
CanTeen programs run for few hours to 3 days. Program Volunteers assist with logistical support, setting up and helping run recreational and craft activities as well as general support to staff.
What's involved in being a Medical Volunteer
Medical Volunteers help out as Program Volunteers but also take on responsibilities such as first aid and managing medications.
What's involved in being a Psychosocial Volunteer
Psychosocial Volunteers help out as Program Volunteers but also take on responsibilities such co-facilitating group work and assisting the social workers.
