Volunteering Central Coast (VCC) is an incorporated association and registered charity based on the NSW Central Coast. Our central purpose is to enable community engagement, inclusion and growth through quality volunteering.

We are committed to championing volunteering in our local area and being a flexible and capable partner helping to enhance our member organisations through the engagement of skilled volunteers.

At VCC we recruit, train and place over 1200 volunteers each year. We help match our volunteers with local community organisations and services, supporting them through their volunteering progress.

We provide a range of services for volunteers commencing with 'Volunteering Rights and Responsibilities' information sessions and we provide our member organisations with assistance in managing their volunteers. We hold workshops on varied aspects of volunteering such as legal responsibilities, work health and safety issues, cultural awareness and an introduction to the national standards for volunteer involvement.

The Board is the legal authority for Volunteering Central Coast Inc. The role of the Board is to provide overall strategic guidance for Volunteering Central Coast and effective oversight of management to ensure its organisational values are met. The Board ensures that the activities of VCC comply with its constitution, from which the Board derives its authority to act, and with contractual, statutory and other legal obligations, including the requirements of all applicable regulatory bodies.
