Strength for Life (SFL) is an evidence-based progressive strength training program that focuses on promoting, maintaining and restoring health in older adults. It operates in local community settings and has a strong focus on social inclusion and participation. The program is currently undergoing a national expansion which includes a complete refresh of marketing and communications to reflect the program’s contemporary approach to active ageing.

While contributing greatly to clients’ sense of well-being and day-to-day functional strength, progressive strength training has also been shown to have an enormous impact on common Seniors’ conditions such as osteoporosis and bone density, osteoarthritis, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular function and disease, sleep disorders, cognitive function and rehabilitation/preventative health around major surgery.

The key focus of this role is providing Administrative assistance to the SFL Program Manager in the ongoing development, enhancement and implementation of the WA program.

Full administrative support which includes collate and log information, prepare and send correspondence, liaise with SFL program providers and answering enquiries from potential participants.

This role requires a seasoned customer service background and a mature and energetic individual to reflect the program’s embrace of contemporary approaches to active ageing.

Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.

You must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
