Koala Habitat restoration Along the Albert River

Conservation Volunteers Australia
Logo for Conservation Volunteers Australia

Woodstock is a stunning 124ha cattle grazing property that sits on the Albert River. It is located between Tamborine National Park, Wickham National Park and Plunkett Conservation Area and is home to several species of threatened wildlife including koalas. Join CVA and help us to restore and connect important koala habitat at this property by planting 10,000 native vegetation species to benefit koalas! We will be planting a mixture of koala food trees, habitat species and native understory species to prevent weeds such as lantana from establishing which inhibits koala movement between trees. This project is a great way to network and gain hands on skills for a career in conservation while making a real difference to our environment. If you require transport please get in touch with our Brisbane Office, otherwise meet the team on site at 231 Plunkett Road, Tamborine at 9:00am – we’ll be finishing up on site at around 2pm. Don’t forget to bring your lunch and plenty of water!
