Coffee Cart volunteer at Greenwich Hospital

Greenwich Hospital Volunteer Services is excited to launch a new coffee cart for patients and their families. Thanks to your efforts, people will be enjoying a quality cup of coffee and raising money for the hospital.

As a coffee cart volunteer you'll

  • Be responsible for setting up the coffee station and checking on stock levels
  • Take orders and serve coffee and a small selection of pre-made sandwiches and cookies etc
  • Manage cash and money handling
  • Work with other volunteers on the cart
  • Use your initiative and be able to problem solve
  • Communicate with patients, visitors and staff

Availability Ideally you'll be available from 11:00am-2pm one day per week for 12 months or longer. We would be happy to discuss with you a suitable week day Monday, Tuesday (urgent need), Wednesday or Thursday.

Greenwich Hospital HammondCare is a hospital providing palliative care, rehab and older persons mental health services to residents in the surrounding areas. We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us. Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which we'll organise and pay for. We'll provide training and ongoing support.

Please note that you must be over the age of 18 to volunteer at Greenwich Hospital and you will need a full immunisation status, including HEP B.
