A not for profit children's charity is seeking a Grants and Compliance Assistant Volunteer to support their team. This Organisation provides free ongoing flight and ground transport to seriously ill children and their families, from rural and regional NSW. They step in to help during one of the toughest times of their lives and they can only continue to do this with the support and generosity of their supporters and partners.

About The Role:

• Volunteers work closely with the Grants and Compliance Manager
• Assist in the preparation, administration and data entry of grant applications
• Assist in researching grant opportunities, articles and relevant publications
• Updating of policy and procedures, pro formas and office templates
• General office administration
• Time commitment is 3-5 hours per week, during standard business hours, Monday through Thursday
• The role is flexible based on your availability, long term commitment preferable
• All Volunteers require current Working with Children and Police Checks

About You:

• Experience in general administration work
• Organisational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Display high levels of tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
• Be an active team player supporting the team and attending to responsibilities in a timely manner
• Prepared to attend mandatory Volunteer Induction and training
• Responsible, reliable, and have strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn
• Tactful and discreet, especially when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
• Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills
• High level of professional integrity and honesty
