MS is the go-to provider of information, advice and support for people affected by multiple sclerosis with over 60 years' insight into how to live well with progressive neurological conditions. We offer vital support and services for people living with multiple sclerosis while the search for a cure continues. We are here so no one has to face MS alone. The money raised from our fundraising events ensures that we are able to provide these services for years to come.

The MS Gong Ride + Wellness Run is our largest annual fundraising event. Starting at Tempe, Sydney and traveling all the way down to Lang Park in Wollongong. We require the help of 450 volunteers plotted along the 82km course to aid us in delivering a safe and fun event.

Over 11,000 participants, staff and volunteers converge at the Finish Village in Lang Park, Wollongong. 10,000 cyclists will cross the finish line here, and up to 1,000 runners will participate in the Wellness Run which starts and finishes at Lang Park.

There are many volunteer roles available at the Finish Village, and along the course. These include: Course Marshals Rest Site Assistants Sector Managers Motorcycle Marshals Finish Village Roles - Information, Cloak Room, Event Kit Collection, Lunch Pack Collection and more!

Shift times vary between 4 to 8 hours long. Please note that most roles require an early morning start!

Our Volunteer Information Session will talk about our organisation, the event, and what it's like to volunteer with MS at the MS Sydney to Gong Ride + Wellness Run. Attendees will also be able to register on the night.
