Hunter's Hill Bushcare volunteers are a friendly and welcoming community, working together to improve the health of our urban bushland and create more habitat for our native wildlife. Our work is very rewarding and volunteers learn so much about our bushland each session. We meet across 11 sites in Hunter's Hill and would love for you to join in and enjoy the fresh air with like minded friends. No experience is necessary and all ages, are welcome.

There are so many benefits to joining a Bushcare group!

  • Find out about native plants and animals, and learn to identify them in the bush
  • Help native species regrow, and create more habitat for threatened animals
  • Explore the impacts of invasive species on the Australian landscape; And
  • Practice invasive species identification and control strategies
