As part of our Arts Program at St Vincent’s Private Hospital we are always looking for ways that art can engage and enhance our patients stay with us. We give our patients the opportunity to participate in hands on artistic activities of their choice, through our Art Trolley. We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers with some creative skills to share to visit patient’s rooms with our Art Trolley, offering a range of art and crafts that patients can do in their own time.  Duties may include: ·         visiting patients to offer a range of art activities   and materials, providing guidance if needed ·         keeping a record of visits made to patients Ideally, you have passion, skills and interest in visual arts and are comfortable engaging and supporting people in a hospital setting.  The Art Trolley is well received by patients and is a very rewarding volunteer role. You will receive ongoing training and opportunities to work within a highly skilled and diverse creative team.  This role is perfect for artists, students or graduates of social work, counselling, art therapy, arts or related courses who are interested in how the arts can be used to enhance the provision of health care.
