Willoughby City Council is running a Media Creation Group aimed at 15-18 year olds to help them develop multimedia skills. The group will run for approximately 2 hours fortnightly on Sunday afternoons and will be led by enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
As a Media Creation Group Volunteer, you will help teenagers engage with multimedia platforms to develop their skills, provide feedback and help to contribute towards a positive learning environment for everyone in the group.
Whilst you don't need any professional multimedia skills, volunteers should have a genuine interest in multimedia platforms and a good knowledge of Wevideo, Audacity and Canva, as well as skills in video editing, podcasting, scriptwriting and / or graphic designs. You will need great people and communication skills to be able to assist and guide participants in their projects.
Volunteers need to be aged over 18 and must have a working with children check for this role. This is a great opportunity to really inspire young people.
