Videographer to film and produce content of epic ten day bike ride - Mater Foundation fundraiser

Mater Volunteers

Videographer required ( 3rd or 4th year student is suitable). Must have experience.

Mater Hospital's Smiling for Smiddy fundraising program is a cause close to the hearts of many affected by cancer. This ten day bike challenge is the original and beloved challenge for the Smiddy riders. This will be the 14th annual ride. Deserted outback highways, warm country towns and stunning ranges- we need someone to help us capture the essence of it all so that we can promote the program to new waves of bicycle enthusiasts who want to help us beat cancer!

Mater will ensure that all your travel, accommodation and meals are provided. You will meet interesting people who wish to share their connection to the cause. You will be inspired by the determination and willpower of the everyday people who push themselves to the physical limit to raise money for cancer care and research. This could be the adventure of a lifetime for the right person.

This ten day quest will take you from Townsville back to Brisbane's Mater Hospital (we will get up to Townsville with our road crew). This role could suit a film student or graduate, with a passion for engaging storytelling. Ideally the volunteer would be able to supply all of their own equipment.

In terms of skills- the most important thing for this project is that the volunteer has some experience with post production. That way if the crew themselves supply the majority of content- the volunteer can help put together some captivating vision.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
