Administration Support - Program & Scholarship Admin Team - NSW - Parramatta
The Smith FamilyThe Administration Support Assistant will support the operations of the Program and Scholarships Administration team through a range of administrative tasks. The position has a focus on administration functions including managing our payment hotline and email account as well as data entry, filing, photocopying and analysing documents.
Key responsibilities: • Processing and managing emails in the VIC and TAS Scholarship Email Account • Answering calls from families on the National Payment Hotline • Data Entry in The Smith Family’s CRM Database • Screening letters/documents for privacy and child protection issues to be escalated. • Supporting general administrative/mailing duties • National administration and support of the school reading program: Student2Student
Essential Competencies / Skills:
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to maintain effective relationships across a range of functional areas
• Highly effective customer service and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate a database and a broad range of computer packages
• Advanced skills in current Microsoft Office packages
• Have excellent English – both spoken and written
• A proven track record of the delivery of accurate and detailed work to tight deadlines
• An aptitude for multitasking
• A genuine can-do attitude
Essential Experience / Education: • Experience in Data Entry • Experience in a similar position in providing administrative assistance within a professional and confidential environment
Desirable Experience / Education: • Awareness of the community and education services sector and issues affecting disadvantaged people.
