Jewish Cares 'Individual & Family Services' department are seeking a friendly, reliable and committed volunteer - with an excellent driving history - to collect meals that will feed those in need within the Jewish community.

You will arrive at the following times to Jewish Care's office in St Kilda Rd to pick up a van and insulated boxes: Thursday 1 August @ 8:15am Thursday 15 August @ 8:15am Thursday 29 August @ 10:45am Thursday 12 September @ 8:15am Wednesday 25 August @ 10:45am Thursday 24 October @ 8:15am Thursday 7 November @ 10:45am Thursday 21 November @ 10:45am Thursday 5 December @ 10:45am

You will then drive to the Ark Centre in Hawthorn, where the team from Our Village Kitchen' will provide you with the meals that you will transport back (in insulated boxes) to St Kilda Road. You will then place the meals safely in the fridge, return the van, and head off to enjoy the rest of your day, knowing that you've played a key role in feeding those less fortunate within our community.

Key 'must haves' include commitment, a desire to do something good for others, and knowledge of, or experience within, the Melbourne Jewish community.

Jewish Care can assist you to apply for a volunteer police check, and will provide orientation (including a drivers assessment).
