BBQ Event to Support Threatened Species

Join us at Castlereagh General Cemetery Reserve and take action to directly support threatened species in Western Sydney!

Get involved in a fun day of practical conservation activities, a guided tour with industry experts and enjoy a free BBQ :-)

8:30am Optional pickup from Penrith Station North (opposite multi-story carpark)

8:55am Meet at Castlereagh General Cemetery and Reserve

9.00am Event Commencement with speakers from Conservation Volunteers, Office of Environment and Heritage and Penrith City Council.

9:30am Practical conservation works to rehabilitate Cumberland Plain Woodland

10:30am Complimentary Morning Tea

11:00am Practical conservation works to rehabilitate Cumberland Plain Woodland

12:45pm  Complimentary BBQ, provided by CVA

1:30pm  Guided tour of the reserve, highlighting local threatened plant and animal species.

2:30pm  Event Finish, return transport to Penrith Station departs
