We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator. We are looking for a skilled and organised individual to coordinate and provide assistance when needed to all the volunteers within the organisation.

Key areas of responsibility • The first point of contact for information for both volunteers and other external agencies/organisations • Promote our organisation at local events and organisations and coordinate logistics including stalls, brochures, bump-ins/out etc. along with PR & Events team • Identify volunteer opportunities, develop role descriptions and coordinate end to end recruitment process with the HR team, especially orientation, induction and training • Maintain the volunteer database and coordinate all volunteer communications with PR team including newsletters, events and social media • Coordination, administration and rostering of volunteers and assist in developing volunteering and internship programs • Manage volunteer engagement and foster the relationship between volunteers, clients and the organisation • Coordinate programs and events to celebrate volunteering within the organisation through recognition and awards • Identify any obstacles in communication or workflow in operations and suggest alternate solutions to improve processes • Assist department managers with policies, compliance and support as and when required via. reports or any other administrative duties and maintain up to date information on licenses and legislation required for operations

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: • Exceptional communicator and able to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders • Strong customer service and relationship management experience • 2+ years’ experience in similar roles desired but not essential • Administrative and IT Skills - Experience working with MS Office and other online communications technology and software; ability to maintain records and produce clear and concise oral or written reports • Ability to prioritise and organise your work independently and as part of a team
