We are seeking organised, motivated and competent production assistant to join MFL production team and make our upcoming video film which is directed in cruise running smoothly.This is an entry level position and you will play a keep role in the success of our productions by helping out with a variety of different duties and task.

**Film production Assistant duties and responsibilities**

  • Help with a variety of production related elements, including building props, lights and sets.
  • Unload lights, stands and other necessary production equipment.
  • Perform administrative duties such as light office work or running errands.
  • Assist costume designers, directors, camera people and other crew members.
  • Escorting actors and actresses to and from their trailers.
  • Helping with crowd control and lockup.
  • Manage paperwork, including copying and distributing necessary scripts, collecting agreements and timesheets, and delivering contracts.
  • Handle other duties as assigned to support the production cast and crew and ensure their needs are met.
  • Directly works with, and reports to Project Manager, to ensure alignment of tasks with project and organisation's objectives/goals.
  • Collaboratively working with video production team members.

**Film production Assistant requirement and qualification**

  • Proven passion for film production. Excellent  organisation, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • A valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or college courses in film or theater; Relevant training (e.g. production courses) will be an advantage.
  • Must be able to work under various working conditions in outdoor weather and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and oftentimes high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to follow direction
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Determination and a passion for film production
  • General understanding of commonly used production software programs
  • Basic technical knowledge to address any equipment issues that occur.
  • Looking at least 6 months commitment for work.
