Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS).  Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

Would you like to visit an older person in an Aged Care Home or their own home and make a real difference in their life? We have a lovely lady in Cowes, Victoria who would benefit from your friendship. She enjoys sewing and mending clothing and conversation.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.  Good communication skills are required-in particular, we are looking for someone who is fluent in the Ukrainian language.
