Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a volunteer to assist the Communications and Social Inclusion Officer with: • Research and production of our regular MHF Newsletter and Staff Bulletin. • Research and drafting of applications for grants. • Drafting of correspondence, media releases and other material, including flyers and promotional material.

Skills required: • Relevant research experience. • Excellent writing skills. • Good oral communication skills. • Ability to work productively in a small team.

The role will work closely with and report to the Communications and Social Inclusion Coordinator.

The position is based at our Chifley office with the ability to work offsite.

The hours are about 10 – 15 hours per month, which are flexible over the one-month period. Some more regular hours may be required for certain projects.
