The volunteer Shopping Escort is matched with a client and escorts the client to shops of their choice on a fortnightly basis and assists them with their grocery shopping.

While providing social support and companionship the Shopping Escort helps with purchases, payment of items, pushing the trolley and carrying bags if required while ensuring the client is safe at all times while moving around the shops/supermarket.

All that is required to become a Shopping Escort is a can-do attitude, 2 hours a fortnight and own vehicle.
