Logo for Western Australian Animals Incorporated

Western Australian Animals Incorporated (WA Animals) was formed in 2018 to aid animals, pet owners, and the environment - through adoption, conservation, and education programs.

Our core achievement to date has been the rehoming of close to 400 animals in our first year of operations, whilst establishing and maintaining community-minded and professional operations. And now we're seeking more volunteers for many roles!

Calling Content Creators!

We are now seeking dedicated content creator volunteers for a range of types of content. We are also keen to talk to anyone who would like to manage the team of creators (while also creating themselves, or just providing feedback).

We do have a set list of content to be produced, and can provide as much guidance as needed, but we'd love it if you're passionate and want to get some of your own ideas created too!

The things we are after include: - Blog posts on animal care topics - Video or written interviews with experts (vets\, wildlife carers\, rangers) - Graphics - Fundraising campaign copy (written\, plans for videos\, or fully produced) - Translations of animal care guides - Podcast episodes?!

We are particularly interested in talking to driven individuals who are able to problem solve and work with minimal direction - either alone or as part of a team. However, content creation experience itself is not required.

A note on copyright / intellectual property:

This role involves creation of content. In doing so, you will grant our organisation perpetual, irrevocable, but non-exclusive, rights to use the content for non-commercial purposes. Additional restrictions (exclusivity) may apply to some content, e.g. video footage of experts, however in general we hope to be as flexible as possible for our volunteers.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
