YWCA Australia is currently inviting suitable applications for a People, Culture & Governance Committee Chair to assist the YWCA Australia Board (and its two housing subsidiary boards) in:

• recruiting, retaining and developing a strong executive leadership team and staff who share YWCA values and are capable of achieving YWCA objectives;
• governance of our remuneration policy and its application to the CEO and executives reporting to the CEO; and
• establishing and maintaining a governance framework for the group and corporate standards of behaviour of YWCA and its subsidiary entities.

This position would suit a professional with strong experience and formal qualifications in human resource management and/or business and/or experience in human resource management leadership roles. The position holder will be required to interpret and advise on governance matters and contemporary people and culture strategies and policies that support the strategic objectives of the YWCA.
