Willoughby City Council is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to assist with our upcoming HSC support sessions.  We are seeking volunteers who can assist with Maths, English and Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology).  The HSC support sessions will run on Thursday 25 July and Thursday 19 September from 5:30 – 8:30pm at Chatswood Library.

These sessions will be attended by HSC students who will bring their work with them, along with any questions they may have.  As volunteer tutors you will be assisting individuals or small groups with any issues or questions they may have.  It is important that you are confident and knowledgeable in your subject and are comfortable with assisting others and guiding them through different concepts or explanations.

Volunteers need a Working With Children Check for this role.  You are welcome to volunteer at one or both of the HSC support sessions.  Volunteers will need to arrive a little earlier than that start time of the event for a volunteer briefing.
