Please contact Braille House to make a difference to people who are blind or have low vision, their families and communities and a need to feel a sense of community commitment and personal satisfaction.
We are seeking volunteers who enjoy planning events, organizing or managing administrative tasks relating to fundraising. This could be Sausage Sizzles, Market Stalls, Trivia Nights or even selling raffle tickets.
Volunteers must be committed to and support Braille House work and mission.
Volunteers help with any of the following: • plan for the event in the months leading up to it • organise attendees and volunteers for the day of the event • help out at information tables to help distribute Braille House resources • run raffles or auctions at events • assist with set-up or clean-up on the day • help people organise a fundraising event for Braille House
