Symes Grove is a fully-accredited aged care facility strengthened by a team of value-driven professionals who sincerely care about what they do and what they bring to our organisation. Our qualified and caring Anglicare staff are currently looking for an organised and dedicated person to assist with general administration and office duties.

This client-facing role will support our residents and their families and liaise with those interested in the facility and the services.

The role will require:
• General administrative skills including data entry and filing • Friendly and professional telephone manner • Sound interpersonal and communication skills • Intermediate computer skills with experience in excel and word • Attention to detail and accuracy, along with an understanding of the need for confidentiality and privacy • Flexibility, commitment and ability to work both independently and within a team • Respect, care and courtesy towards others

Other requirements include:

• Availability – minimum of one shift (4 hours) per week, Monday to Friday between 9am and 2pm • Consistency and reliability – willing to commit to an ongoing basis for at least 6 months • Confidentiality – this is critical to us and you will need to sign a Role Description which includes a confidentiality agreement • Two (2) referees – who are not relatives and can vouch for your character and interaction in the community (ie. Work Colleague, Church Elder, Community Leader , Doctor or other Professional) • National Police Clearance – we organise and pay for this if you don’t already have one
