Our volunteers come from all walks of life, they're of all ages, friendly and dedicated, and just waiting to welcome you as part of our brilliant team.

It's flexible.

Volunteering in our store is easy and flexible. Ideally, you'll be available to volunteer 1-3 days per week, either full day or half-day shift. And all activities are Centrelink approved.

You'll make a difference.

The work that you do will be helping change the lives of children. All profits from our stores support vulnerable kids here in Australia and overseas through programs that keep them healthy, in school and protected from abuse.

Who are we looking for?

If you're punctual, reliable and honest, all you need is a willingness to learn. This is a great opportunity if you're seeking retail work experience, recently retired or looking to meet some new people. We'll show you what to do and provide all the training you'll need. Before you know it, you'll be part of the team, having fun while doing something you can be proud of.

You will make an impact by:

• Providing a high level of friendly customer service.
• Accept donations brought to the shop
• Daily operations including sorting & pricing donations, basic register sales.
• Maintaining Visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.

Our ideal candidate will be:

• Able to work 1-3 days per week, either full day or half day
• Punctual, reliable and honest
• Able to work as part of a team, participating in all general activities
• Able to create a fun, friendly environment for both your fellow volunteers and customers.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic and/or basic cash handling skills
