As part of the Melbourne District Girl Guides team, you help share opportunities in guiding to both internal and external audiences. You will report to the District Manager, who's responsible for girl guiding in the City of Melbourne area. You will help promote girl guides to the community, sharing the activities and achievements of our members. We are particularly keen to reach girls living in Carlton, Docklands and North Melbourne. In addition, you will help girls guides and other volunteers find resources and share information by sourcing and developing content for social media, moderating comments, and advising on safe and positive ways of engaging with social media. You will managing the facebook page and instagram account. Experience in planning social media a plus!

This role can be done virtually, or in person. You can attend regular meetings with other volunteers, or meet separately with the District Manager, as negotiated.
