The Donations Assistant works with Food Services and Site Management in procuring and securing food donations for Christmas hampers and Christmas meals. Based on the requirements of Food Services for Christmas 2019, the Donations Assistant will:

  • Follow up on existing relationships to encourage further support
  • Develop new relationships for on-going donations
  • Set up and develop a donation template to meet various targets and deadlines

Experience and skills required for this role:

  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to follow instructions and basic checklists

Desirable skills

  • Previous outbound customer service experience
  • Database management
  • Experience in procurement

Volunteers will also require:

  • Good phone etiquette
  • Ability to engage and build rapport
  • Honesty and reliability

It is preferable that the volunteer is able to comfortably lift 12 kg.
