Volunteering at Roma Street Parkland and South Bank Parklands provides an opportunity to be involved in the management and delivery of horticultural and visitor services in two of Brisbane’s premier parklands.

City Parklands is currently looking for volunteer gardeners based at Roma Street Parkland and South Bank Parklands.

South Bank Parklands - As a volunteer working in the Epicurious garden, you will be involved in propagating many of the heritage seeds, managing the Harvest Cart, providing information to visitors and general maintenance.

Roma Street Parkland - Working within different areas of the parkland, volunteers will work alongside one of the three horticultural teams. Tasks include general maintenance, mulching, deadheading, weeding, and involvement in special projects.

Days: Volunteers are required on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays only.
Hours of work: 6.30am - 11.30am, flexible with start or finish times. Frequency: Weekly or fortnightly
