A Charity that is passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need, with a particular commitment to dementia and aged care, is seeking a Biography Volunteer.

As a Biography Volunteer you would be supporting an elderly, vision impaired gentleman who wishes to document his life story. This would take place in his aged care home where you would sit with him, listen to his stories and record them on paper. The process of capturing and recording his unique stories is deeply meaningful for both the gentleman and his family and creates a space for personal reflection and connection.

The stories and experiences of older community members are precious, important and to be celebrated. Volunteering in this capacity will have a profound impact on this gentleman and his family, creating a lasting legacy that will be treasured for generations.
