MercyCare is a not for profit, leading aged care, early learning, disability, family and community services provider.

MercyCare is looking for driving mentors to assist young people to obtain a driver licence by providing an opportunity to complete their required supervised driving with a volunteer Driving Mentor. The MercyCare RYDE Program provides young people with the opportunity to complete their 50 hours of required supervised driving with a volunteer Driving Mentor with a customised vehicle available.

Volunteering within the RYDE Program as a Driving Mentor may offer a rewarding experience through sharing tangible, real-world skills which serve to directly assist disadvantaged Young People. The role involves not only the sharing of expertise in negotiation the roads, but also the development of supportive trust relationships as you partner Learner Drivers to achieve their goals.
