We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is able to support our current Garden Team leader in ensuring our garden is well maintained, our team environment is always respectful, and is committed to making the garden a welcoming, safe and colourful space where people come to build friendships, learn, share, relax and inspire others.

Role includes:

  • Teaching and supporting garden members with various skill levels, while they learn and enjoy working in the garden
  • Being a welcoming first point of contact for anyone who comes into the garden
  • Encourage team input and creativity in shaping the garden into the future
  • Opening and closing the garden outside of MarionLIFE community garden hours
  • Ensuring people are being safe and responsible at all times
  • Delegating and supervising tasks as needed
