Logo for Perth Broncos American Football Club

Come and be part of something a little different this summer season! If you’ve never heard of American Football (Gridiron) - don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Our club prides itself on developing our member’s understanding of the game, and that includes you – our  team of trainers.

The Broncos home ground is Lightning Park in Noranda. Our games are usually played on Saturday afternoon, and sometimes on Friday nights, between October and February. Venues for away games range from Rockingham to Craigie. We have a Women’s, Men’s and Under 19’s team – we can help you organise a Working With Children Check if you don’t already have one.

Bring yourself and...

Comfy shoes! On game days you’ll be massaging, strapping and providing first aid while enjoying the action from the best seat in the house. We’d also like at least one trainer to visit practice during the week. If you need to complete your 50 hours to “level up” with Sports Medicine Australia – we’ve got them available for you to do!

What you do matters because...

You'll be making a difference by facilitating the participation of our athletes and providing care and support. Why does this matter? Our club is all about family and community, and providing opportunities for people to participate and maybe find somewhere to belong. We are big on diversity, inclusion, mental health and fair play - your contribution will help us spread this message and make the opportunities we provide more accessible.

...but what do I get out of it?

Payment is negotiable for the lead trainer for each team. If you’re only available for a couple of games, or want to get more experience without the commitment, you’re welcome to apply as a volunteer. As support staff at the club, you’re considered part of the family and invited to participate in all our social events. You can find out more about our club on our website.

Sounds good...

We encourage everyone from Allied Health students to experienced trainers to apply. Ideally, we would like a suitably experienced Allied Health Practitioner or Level 2 trainer to coordinate  a team of three or more Level 1 trainers.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
