Enjoy being outdoors and tending the garden? An aged care facility is looking for hardworking, experienced and friendly volunteers to assist with gardening duties. The gardening volunteering role involves racking leaves, mowing lawns, trimming hedges, sweeping footpaths, pruning, timely watering of all plants, general garden maintenance, maintaining the exterior of the facility and ensuring all relevant health and safety standards are met in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures. A minimum of 3 hours on Mondays and/or Tuesdays between the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm is requested. A commitment of a minimum of 1 shift a fortnight is required.
