An aged care facility is looking for friendly, helpful and kind volunteers to assist in a coffee shop. The role includes preparation of tea, coffee, milkshakes, sandwich’s and delivery of hot meals, sweets and cakes prepared by the kitchen to residents, staff and visitors. Volunteers must be able to provide friendly service to all customers and be willing to volunteer on a roster. Volunteering hours are from 8:30am-12:30pm Tuesday and Thursday’s. A commitment to a minimum of 1 shift per fortnight is required. Volunteers are offered a tea break, where the cost of a drink and a sweet will be covered by the facility. All kiosk attendant volunteers are provided with safe food handling and infection control training. We would love to hear from individuals who are interested in this volunteering position.
