A local aged care facility is looking to expand their dedicated team of volunteer bus drivers. This role is essential for providing transport for residents attending social outings or scenic drives provided and determined by the Leisure and Lifestyle team. Volunteer bus drivers must hold a current and valid LR driver’s licence as a minimum requirement and provide a copy upon request. All bus volunteers must undergo a National Police Check (covered and provided by the organisation). Successful volunteer bus drivers must further provide a medical clearance to drive. Volunteer bus drivers interested in providing their services for scenic bus drives are required to volunteer on a roster for Mondays (1:30pm-3:30pm) and Tuesdays (9:30am-11:30pm). A commitment of 1 shift per fortnight is required. Volunteers interested in providing their services for social outings must be flexible and duration and days will be requested by the Leisure and Lifestyle team.
