Jeans for Genes Day is on Friday August 2 and is an iconic fundraising campaign whose purpose is to fund revoluntionary research that helps diagnose, understand and find cures or treatments for conditions affecting children, including genetic diseases, cancer and epilepsy.
Volunteers are required to sell merchandise in 40 plus locations in Sydney / Newcastle for shifts of 2 to 4 hours between 6am and 6pm. Shift times are available early morning, midday and afternoon.
Minimum age is 14 years.
- Great opportunity to meet people, have some fun whilst giving back to the community by helping to raise funds and awareness for birth defects and genetic disorders.
- All volunteers will receive a volunteer T-shirt, certificate and reference letter.
