Ride Marshals - Dirty Days (Mountain Bike Event)

  • Requirements
    • Driver's Licence (C)

    - Competent mountain bike cyclist
    -18 years of age and over
    - Driver's Licence (or ability to travel independently to and from the designated
    - First Aid qualification
    - Ability to pre-ride the routes on the morning of the events
    - Able to take direction and arrive on time at the designated location

    Please note: As each organisation provides levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).

We are seeking volunteers who are over 18 years of age, are competent mountain bikers, able to lead and be at the tail end for both the intermediate and beginners rides, They would need to provide their own transport. The Dirty Days mountain bike events for 2019 will be held on:

  • #1 Sunday 23 June - Cobbler Creek
  • #2 Sunday 21 July - Craigburn Farm
  • #3 Sunday 18 August - Eagle MTB Park
  • #4 Sunday 21 October - Fox Creek (Cudlee Creek) The 15 km to 20 km beginners routes will be relatively obstacle free. The 33 km intermediate routes include single track, basic obstacles, switchbacks, drop offs, etc. Assistance will also be required to set up prior to the ride. The time frame will be from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm with a sausage sizzle at the end of the event. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the forest region of the Adelaide Hills.
