Cancer Council WA is seeking a qualified, Beauty Therapist to provide people affected by cancer with beauty treatment consisting of facials and make up therapy only, in accordance with the CCWA Complementary Therapy Program protocols and guidelines.

Evidence shows that complementary therapies enhance feelings of wellbeing and help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer, their carers and families.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• comply with CCWA Complementary Touch Based therapy policy, guidelines and protocols
• deliver beauty therapy within this framework
• meet time and duty commitments
• complete consent and medical history client forms
• respect client confidentiality
• complete reporting documents
• report concerns regarding client suitability or condition
• comply with CCWA Health and Safety policy
• participate in annual review process
• provide buddy support as required
• attend volunteer team meetings
