We ask volunteers to wear a plain black or white t-shirt or jumper and enclosed shoes and avoid skirts or short shorts below knee length.
We ask our volunteers to not smoke or drink alcohol while they are volunteering.
We’re looking for volunteers to assist in selling raffle tickets on the night and help make a difference to the lives of people with spinal cord damage or related physical disability.
While we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and all interest is appreciated, we can only select a limited number of volunteers who use a wheelchair due to accessibility issues with areas of the stadium.
What you need to know Volunteers will need to arrive at the Vehicle Entry at Suncorp Stadium, 40 Castlemaine Street, Milton by 5pm sharp on 2 August for the initial briefing.
From approximately 6pm, volunteers will go around selling 50-50 Charity raffle tickets to fans, using provided handheld electronic devices to process payments and tickets.
The more tickets sold, the higher the overall prize pool and the more funds that will go towards Spinal Life Australia!
Shifts will end at approximately 10pm.
Volunteers will be provided with:
An iPad to electronically record and process ticket sales A portable printer to print tickets A bum bag A 50-50 apron A 50-50 cap Bottled water
