Currently, young men’s mental health remains a significant issue within Australia. Statistics have demonstrated that young men make up a significant proportion of sufferers, however are among the least likely to seek help. Conviction Group aims to encourage young males to re-evaluate their perspectives on the pivotal issues concerning mental health health and provide them with the tools to enhance decision-making. We are currently seeking male role models to lead young men as Facilitators at our student forums to start a conversation and make a change on the stigma surrounding mental health.

YOUR ROLE Facilitators// As a Facilitator you will lead small group sessions after each presentation with high school students, reinforce key principles, stimulate discussion between students and provide students with the practical tools to deal with these issues. You act as a mentor on the day and guide discussions surrounding mental health.

Ambassadors// The Ambassadors are responsible for ensuring that the day runs smoothly - managing attendees, photography, resource distribution, social media, tech and production. If you are an IT guru or enjoy photography this would be a great opportunity to apply your skills!
