What We’re Looking For Positively Transforming World (PTW) are looking for people from a variety of professional and academics backgrounds to join our community engagement project in Melbourne Australia focusing on improving the health and education of marginalised, refugee and at-risk children from the South Sudanese community, and other communities of the Dandenong region.

About Us PTW is a 100% skill-based volunteer-run-and-operated organization providing international aid through Health and Education. Our mission is to empower the world with quality health and education. All staff, and therefore all volunteers provide at least 3 hours of service weekly to PTW in their respective role and volunteer from their own hometown. All positions within PTW are volunteer roles. Role Type This role is a child-facing role involving programs for children including educational games, sports and activities, mentorship, leadership and role-model development.  The program runs on Friday evenings starting between 5:30-6:00pm and finishing at 7:30-8:00pm. This team requires volunteers from a wide range of skillsets and experiences from Melbourne and surrounding regions who can travel to Dandenong/Doveton. Depending on your skillsets and experience, this role can be an entry-level position or a management, leadership or consultancy position within the program team.

Who This Role Is Suited For This role is suited but not limited to professionals and students with experience in any fields of: healthcare including physiotherapy, mental health, diet and nutrition, public health, health promotion, nursing, medical or pharmacy; education including primary, secondary, tertiary or research; sciences including environmental, wildlife and humanities; arts including music, dance, design; commerce including economics, finance, law and marketing; or project work including event coordinating and project management.
