Have some experience in or are studying Community Service, Mental Health, Aged Care,Marketing and Events or Hospitality ? This role may offer the practical work required or perhaps your a fantastic organiser. While the support is simple in its nature it is crucial in its kind, by providing invaluable face to face connection and friendship, our Friends are supported to expand their social experiences and build their community networks. Activity Coordinator responsibilities include: Attend information session, interview and training Create a draft activity plan Liaise with G61 Program Coordinator and Project Support Officer to develop event plan. Coordinate / organise the activity Promote and encourage participation Host the activity Offer on day support to G61 Friends Coordinate volunteers assisting on the day Write a brief report on the activity.
