Hills Community Aid are currently going through the process of becoming a White Ribbon Accredited organisation. During this time we are looking for volunteers to form a working committee, comprised of a diverse group of men and women who will work together to complete various tasks towards gaining accreditation.

Within this role you will:

• Meet with fellow committee members to discuss change within the community
• Create policies and best practice guidelines
• Increase knowledge and educate organisation staff on domestic violence against women

Criteria

• Passion for working in the community
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work collaboratively with others volunteers and to work independently when required
• Previous experience in working groups/committees desired but not essential
